Remember 2002 when, after we had routed the Taliban, this man became the new president of Afghanistan, destined to usher in an era of freedom and democracy?

Well, as it turned out, we gave this man, who was part of the Mujahadeen, worked for the Taliban, and then positioned himself for leadership of the country by kissing up to Conoco, Cheney, and Bush, over $150 million dollars in cash, in paper bags delivered to his office, over ten years of both the Bush and Obama administrations.

Women, on the other hand, are no better off. Women are still stoned for being raped.
