Kai Paints 09-09-13

I’m giving my grandkids painting lessons on alternate Mondays this fall.  Kai’s first class was today.  When i first painted with him 4 years ago, I chose abstract, because it takes the pressure off and allows the child (of any age, myself included), to explore, play, and learn without worrying about whether it looks like something.   Kai decided it was his favorite way to paint.  Today was the first canvas he did completely on his own.  My only participation was to suggest method and tear the tape to the length he wanted.
