I was practicing with my 45mm 1.8 lens last night in a very dark setting. Quite impressed with how well it does. I was going to sell it off to my friend Mark but I am having second thoughts.
This duo from Bisbee are two of our favorite local musicians. Go to their site (by clicking the image), go to their shows (we once saw them perform Pink Floyd’s The Wall in its entirety and nail it!), buy their CD’s (which are quirky, often dark alt-folk.) You won’t be sorry you did.

Mary Theresa Dietz is one of my favorite Tucson artists. She is endlessly inventive and creative, always finding new ways to express her quirky sensibilities, love of animals, and wonderful sense of humor. Jane and I own several of her pieces, including the larger than life raven from which I made this image.
